CPS Dean Liesl Riddle presents the Partners in Progress Award to Martin Velazquez.

Our CPS faculty and staff make remarkable contributions to our college community through their work in areas of community, innovation & learning and partnerships. We invited nominations for each of these areas and announced our winners at the recent All Hands college meeting.

Community Excellence Award

This award aims to highlight the college's goal of People, and recognizes those who foster an inclusive community of lifelong learners among students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The award highlights individuals who actively contribute to building and nurturing an accessible and inclusive environment within the college community. The award winners were: 


Advancing Innovation & Learning Award

This award captures the spirit of the college's goal of Learning and serves as a fitting tribute to those who are at the forefront of driving innovation and progress in academia. This award emphasizes the proactive efforts to drive change and improvement in pedagogy, curricula, co-curricular experiences, and research to enhance the learning experience for our students. The award winners were: 


Partners in Progress Award

This award captures the essence of the college's goal of Professional Progress with its emphasis on the collaborative work between businesses and government to expand student market reach and enhance employment opportunities. This award emphasizes the importance of fostering partnerships and driving progress in the professional realm while reinforcing the theme of preparing students for successful careers in their chosen fields. The award winners were:
