We are delighted to announce a powerful collaboration between The George Washington University through its College of Professional Studies and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. This partnership brings together the College’s academic excellence in political management and the rich legacy of the Ronald Reagan Institute to create the Academy for Civic Education and Democracy (ACED). Together, we are taking a giant leap into the world of civic engagement, leadership and promoting the legacies of two American Presidential icons: Ronald Reagan and George Washington.

The highly anticipated collaboration with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute (RRI) took center stage with the memorandum of understanding being signed during the GSPM board meeting held Oct. 13 at RRI. This groundbreaking partnership created the new Academy, promising to shape the future of political education and leadership.

“We are incredibly excited about this partnership. This program also involves a close collaboration between our College and the Elliott School of International Affairs. I am grateful to the many team members from all of our organizations, who worked tirelessly to make it happen. We are building an exciting undergraduate student experience together,” commented CPS Dean Liesl Riddle.
