Henry Sienkiewicz

Henry J. Sienkiewicz is a seasoned cybersecurity strategist, educator, and author with over three decades of experience in the public and private sectors. He currently serves as a faculty member, where he teaches graduate courses in cybersecurity, information assurance, and applied intelligence. His academic work focuses on trust architectures, cyber risk frameworks, and digital sovereignty.
Mr. Sienkiewicz previously served as the Chief Information Officer and Designated Authorizing Official for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), where he led transformative cloud and cybersecurity initiatives for the U.S. Department of Defense. He previously held multiple positions in the commercial industry at the CEO and CIO level, notably in the travel industry. His expertise in secure digital transformation and enterprise architecture continues to influence public policy and commercial practices.
An advocate of interdisciplinary approaches, Mr. Sienkiewicz integrates classical strategic theory with contemporary cyber conflict models. His peer reviewed research on Unified Linkage-Theory Models (ULMT), rhizomatic networks, and digital trust has been published in white papers and journals. He is also the author of The Art of Cyber Conflict and numerous articles addressing identity management, AI-driven compliance, and disinformation defense.
