CPS Adds Product Management to Its List of Boot Camps

Since 2017 CPS has been offering short-term non-credit boot camps in a variety of subject matters in collaboration with 2U/edX. The latest addition to the list is the Product Management Boot Camp which will be launched on March 31, 2022.

Product management is an organizational function that guides every step of a product’s life cycle: from development, to positioning and pricing, by focusing on the product and its customers first and foremost. Product Management has quickly become one of the hottest, fast-growing jobs in the economy according to Glassdoor.

The GW Product Management Boot Camp is an 18-week part-time online program, which prepares students for a multidisciplinary career in this growing segment of the job market.

The boot camp curriculum covers the entire product experience from the product concept and solving customer problems to market analysis and segmentation, Agile project management, product life cycle management, data analysis and product optimization. Students will also learn design thinking, SQL, data visualization and Tableau as part of the course. Since Scrum framework is part of the curriculum, students will also be prepared for Professional Scrum Master, Level 1 (PSM-1) certification by the end of the course.
