Jeff Delinski serves as the Program Director for the Homeland Security undergraduate program at the George Washington University, College of Professional Studies.
Mr. Delinski retired from the Metro Transit Police Department in 2014 after 25 years of distinguished service. He retired as the Deputy Chief of Patrol Operations. In this capacity, Delinski not only managed over 300 police officers and officials, but was integrated into the law enforcement community of the Washington D.C. region. This included an extensive working relationship of local, state and Federal executives.
Earlier in his policing career, he served in a variety of assignments such as the Training Division Commander, District Commander, Deputy Chief of Homeland Security, Intelligence and Investigation Bureau, Public Information Officer, Homeland Security Grant Administration and co-chair of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Police Chief’s Committee.
Education
Jeff received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice from George Mason University, and a Master’s Degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University. He graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy, Quantico, Virginia in 1998.
