Happy birthday GW! As we celebrate 200 years of GW history, we hope that you will be able to join in the many programs, conversations and special events throughout this year.

GW’s Bicentennial Celebration kicked off on February 9 and will continue through October 3, 2021. If you missed the exciting opening ceremony, you can view the event in its entirety online. Event Description: In celebration of the George Washington University's bicentennial, the College of Professional Studies presents a conversation on the changing face of higher education as more adult learners look to embrace career transitions in current or emerging job markets. One of George Washington's ten schools and colleges, CPS is specially designed for those who wish to distinguish themselves in their professions, either as they enhance their professional skills or change careers. 

This informative live group discussion will examine multiple market factors that drive career transition and how flexible learning modalities, advanced curriculum and hands-on student success coaches create a dynamic model in producing the next generation of leaders in an ever-changing global landscape. You will hear from recent CPS distinguished alumni as they share their journeys on changing careers and their formulas of success.

Panelists include Acting Dean of the College of Professional Studies, Melissa Feuer, Nicole Mintz, Director of Career Services College of Professional Studies, and CPS alumni.

Audience: This event is open to the GW community, including current students, alumni, and prospective students.
