GSPM Director Lara Brown Promoted to Rank of Professor

Congratulations Director Lara Brown on your promotion to Professor of Political Management in the College of Professional Studies, beginning July 1.

Dr. Brown, a prominent political scientist, author and commentator, currently serves as an associate professor and director of the Graduate School of Political Management. In addition to providing leadership for the school, she researches and publishes on topics related to American presidents, parties, congressional scandals and national elections.

She is a frequent presence in the media, appearing on dozens of television and radio programs, and serving as an expert on politics, elections, and governance for scores of print publications.

Dr. Brown is an author, including two books, Amateur Hour: Presidential Character and the Question of Leadership (Routledge, 2020) and Jockeying for the American Presidency: The Political Opportunism of Aspirants (Cambria Press, 2010).
