“What an incredible day at GW’s Career Expo! I had the pleasure of meeting numerous talented students from George Washington University’s College of Professional Studies,” wrote Nicole Mintz, PCC, Director of Career Services, on LinkedIn.

Ms. Mintz reported connecting with a number of College of Professional Studies (CPS) students September 12 at GW’s Career Exploration Expo.

The popular career event was attended by close to 1,200 GW students. Held annually, it provides an opportunity for students to meet face-to-face with potential employers offering internships and full-time jobs.

CPS students in attendance included Salimatou Doumbouya, A'aron John, Fernando Garcia-Corrales, Brady Rivera, Mikhail Wemmell, Victoria Karpowicz and Danielle Greminger.

Students represented a number of CPS programs, including Sustainable Urban Planning, Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management, Homeland Security, Information Technology and Paralegal Studies.

'Nicole, thank you so much for all your help and support during the event and for all the work prior to the event. You really make a difference for your students.'

Additionally, Ms. Mintz worked closely with the students before the event. She conducted a preparation workshop the week prior to the Expo, as well as held many 1-on-1 coaching appointments to help support CPS students planning to attend the fair.
