Our faculty members will discuss the relationship between the intelligence cycle and the Incident Management process. The panel will focus on current local and globalized incidents such as Covid-19, wildfires, hurricanes and typhoons, all presenting the potential for disastrous consequences affecting socio-economic and cultural practices both here and abroad.
The discussion will demonstrate how the intelligence cycle enhances incident management, mitigation and prevention, and influences management policies.
The discussion will also look at how incidents dictate the need for specific and timely intelligence needed to support ongoing efforts to enhance operational response and policies at the national, state and local levels.
