Dual Degree Programs
Put Your degree & Career
on the Fast Track
The College of Professional Students offers eight Dual Degree program options that combine undergraduate and graduate programs. While in the undergraduate program, credits from three courses can count towards both your undergraduate and graduate requirements, so that both degrees can be granted in a shorter time and at a lower cost than if both were pursued separately.
- They are designed for current GW students who are interested in furthering their careers.
- Students must apply to the dual degree program and the graduate program of choice.
- Please review program details and speak with your academic advisor for more information.

Career Acceleration Opportunities
Dual degree programs help students grow their career opportunities. The accelerated pathway allows students to more rapidly increase their value in their field of choice by receiving both an undergraduate and graduate degree more quickly.
Faster Degree Completion
The multi-level dual-degree programs reduce the total number of credit hours required to complete the Bachelor’s and Master’s program by nine and decreases the total number of semesters, so students graduate a semester early.
Reduced Tuition Costs
The accelerated program reduces the number of required credit hours and provides substantial tuition savings. Additionally, after completing your bachelor's degree at GW, you will qualify for the University's Grad2Grad program and receive 10% off of graduate tuition.
